KMC Transport Planning Ltd (KMC) is appointed by the London Borough of Sutton (LBS) to provide transport advice pertinent to the redevelopment of their land holdings east of Cotswold Road and which forms part of the London Cancer Hub.

The London Cancer Hub is a partnership between The Institute of Cancer Research, London, and the London Borough of Sutton, with the support of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and the Greater London Authority. The partners are also working in close collaboration with Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. The vision is to create an improved, expanded, world class campus for life sciences in Sutton, south London. The London Cancer Hub has previously been subject to a Development Framework and has a policy position within the London Plan and the London Borough of Sutton’s Local Plan. When complete, the development will offer more than 280,000 m2 of integrated life-science buildings including facilities for cancer research, diagnosis, treatment, education and commercial collaboration.

Our work has been to support and appraise the quantum of the development that could be delivered on LBS land holdings subject to a suite of transport measures and investments.
