KMC was retained by Kier on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council to prepare a Transport Assessment, Travel Plan and access strategy for the development of a 60 pupil Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) school to the west of Wisbech. The new school will provide much needed improved facilities for the pupils.

KMC worked closely with Cambridgeshire County Council highways to agree off-site measures to improve access to the site by sustainable modes. This included a new access, reduced speed limit and associated traffic calming measures and a shared footway/cycleway delivered within existing highway constraints.
