KMC was retained by Central Bedfordshire Council to provide transport advice for the planning application for a new Crematorium near Flitwick. KMC prepared the Transport Assessment to support the planning application, which included junction capacity assessments, site access design and the design of off-site walk and cycle infrastructure to connect the site to Flitwick.

KMC also provided technical input to the Needs Assessment to help demonstrate that the proposed site represented the optimum site to meet unmet need in Central Bedfordshire. This included detailed analysis using GIS software to assess the constraints and catchments of the alternative sites.
