KMC have supported Urban&Civic as part of the continued design and delivery of Waterbeach new town to the north of Cambridge. Our involvement builds on many of our longstanding relationships with U&C and the site.

Waterbeach is a fantastic example of how active travel and public transport can be embedded into new communities and has been rightly celebrated for its design ambitions. The approach to transport, and the substantial investments being made, have been essential to addressing the challenges of an ‘at capacity’ highway network and the requirements to work within a Monitor and Manage delivery framework.
