Cambridge Discovery Campus (CDC) is a brand-new science and technology campus located in a strategically important location within the Cambridge life science cluster. It will provide more than 30,000 sqm of science and innovation space, flexibly designed to support small to medium sized ventures or ‘whole campus’ organisations arranged over six detached lab enabled buildings. This development will also include a bespoke amenity building overlooking superb sports fields, and a 30-acre country park.

KMC provided transport planning and highways design services to support the planning process for this exciting project and the case for development in a green belt site was made, in part, as a result of the transport benefits that the site would bring and how it would relate to committed transport infrastructure in the wider area. We continue to be involved in the detailed design of the highway works as the site nears delivery.
