Beyond the transformational benefits already delivered by Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CBC), it is felt that CBC has the further potential to become even more of a standout global centre of healthcare delivery, life sciences research and commercialisation, through becoming a larger and better integrated, and attractive quarter of Cambridge. KMC have provided the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and the Landowner Collaboration Group transport advice pertinent to this potential enhancement and expansion of the campus.

Our work has been across several projects but primarily as part of the production of a Spatial Framework as part of the promotion of the land as part of the Greater Cambridge Local Plan Development process. The Spatial Framework considers, and makes the case for, a better more integrated campus which takes account of existing commitments, campus stakeholder’s ambitions, and the expansion land.
