Wesley Wroe

Associate Director

Wesley is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 15 years experience working in the built environment, having gained his MEng at Cambridge University. He is a true believer in the power of sustainable development and the design opportunities that can be opened up when projects are viewed holistically. As a civil engineer, his experience ranges from the design and delivery of everything from single dwellings up to new towns of over 5,000 homes. In recent years his focus has been on the integration of active travel and sustainable drainage solutions in new neighbourhoods, as well as understanding how to retrofit these into existing situations. He recently joined KMC to help grow the Sustainable Infrastructure team and works closely with transport planning colleagues to help unlock the best design opportunities. He previously worked for Stantec who he joined as a graduate, progressing through to becoming one of the UK business’s Active Travel design leads.

Over the last few years Wesley has developed and delivered technical materials at national active travel conferences as well as being a regular guest lecturer for Imperial College London’s MSc in Sustainable Urban Environments.
