Jamie Ward

Jamie is a Senior Transport Planner based in Cambridge, with over five years’ experience shaping sustainable transport strategies and supporting new development. He has worked across a range of sectors including healthcare, research, commercial and education, both in the UK and internationally. Jamie also brings expertise in transport infrastructure appraisal and business case development. He has an academic background in Geography (BA, University of Oxford) and Transport Planning (MSc, University of Leeds); and has received national award recognition for his undergraduate and master’s dissertation research.

Outside work, Jamie runs his local Scout Group, leading a team of over 20 volunteers to deliver adventurous activities that help prepare young people with skills for life. He also enjoys travelling and cycling round the local countryside (where there’s fortunately few hills).
